Build A Great Culture And You Will Hire The Smartest People And They Will Solve Your Customer’s Problems

I was unsure about the company when I joined. Ordering takeaway was not a problem I thought needed fixing. I remember before an interview I went out to a few takeaways and restaurants near where I lived and asked them if they had heard of the platform. The response was overwhelming, everyone of them told me they loved the service, because it was so simple: They had a machine, it printed tickets and then sent out the orders. No time lost of the phone, no customers unhappy because of miss-heard menu items. And they loved the extra money that came in. One guy even told me that he had so Many orders through the platform he’d created a second kitchen just to cook take outs on the back of orders from Just Eat!

A quick google and I saw they had secured 30m in funding and clearly had and interesting charismatic CEO

Just Eat is about ambition and the opportunity to create a truly great global company
